Ngā mihi o te wā.

Thank you for the wonderful turn out we had at our recent Consultation Hui.  It was such a pleasure to meet, talk, and listen to your whakaaro (ideas, thoughts) around our focus questions, but also to hear your aspirations and goals for our tamariki in this learning space, tēnā koutou katoa.

We have recorded all of your kōrero (find attached), within the 5 areas of Manaakitanga, Ako, Wānanga, Whanaungatanga, and Tangtawhenuatanga, and have discussed these together with the staff.  While we are pleased a great deal of these things are already occurring here at Henderson South, there are also things we are looking forward to addressing. Whānau Māori Consultation Hui Feedback

This was a great start and we hope to keep the momentum up by re-establishing the Whānau Māori Steering Committee.  Trevor will be connecting with some of you soon and we hope you will join us to get things moving.
